walkingbuzz.jpgIn 1998, we were writing and recording songs for our 3rd Blessid Union Of Souls CD, this one on Push Records, and having the first couple songs finished we were trying different ways to get new ideas for songs. Sometimes that is changing a location like Matt and Eliot did by going to Florida for a week and starting "That's The Girl " and "Standing At The Edge Of The Earth ",  or collaborating with other outside writers like we did in the past with "Light In Your Eyes ", "Where We Were Before " and "Peace And Love ". That is just what we did when we contacted Curt Benton from the band "Thunder Head", to give us some inspiration from not only being able to play many different instruments but also his ability to come up with good track ideas. Curt had performed on our first 2 CDs with his southern style guitar playing and his blues harmonica like on "Oh Virginia " and "I Wanna Be There ". With his BUOS songwriting debut we came out of the studio with a really cool track called "Stone Glass Window" with Curt playing almost all the guitar parts and a fantastic slide.

Here are the lyrics to the song.

Lyrics

Was conceived outta nuthin'
Always be what I've been
If I focus the real world
One day I might tune it in
