 CP Roth was in Blessid Union Of Souls from 1993 till 2002. Besides playing keyboards, bass guitar and harmonica, CP was also the co-producer with Emosia on the first 4 cds. In the studio CP was great, not just a musician, but an arranger and midi programmer. Early on when we were recording the first cd CP called first dibs on the top left bunk in the tour bus, as he and drummer Eddie Hedges had a lot of previous touring experience with other groups. When we finally started touring in 1995 CP always had us going with his on and off-stage antics. He is a great performer and always keeps you on your toes.
We first met CP when we signed with Ligosa Entertainment to produce our first demos under the band name "Slamm". He was hired to do all the midi programming, and since he was also touring with Rick Derringer at the time he brought Rick in to play some guitar tracks. That was totally awesome!
We had a ton of good times with Chuck during the early years of Blessid Union and hope to get him to start a monthly blog on our website sharing old Blessid stories and keeping us up to date on his current projects and bands.
