When did you see Blessid for the first time? Was it at your college? A show sponsored by your favorite radio station? Was it on VH1? How old were you? I remember my first rock concert. It was in a very high row at the Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati Ohio. I didn't know much about the band at the time but it was my friend's favorite band. Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Started off with "Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends". The lights went down minutes before the band came out. Every-one's lighters were lit and held high and the smell of weed filled the whole place. That was a concert. It was the most magical experience one could encounter at the time. I haven't experienced anything like it in years. I spent most of a musical career trying to give an audience that same experience but times had changed and the media destroyed any chance of doing that today. Well maybe 2 or 3 acts today could come close but you that experienced that moment in rock history know that it's just not going to happen. But still we get letters from fans still today telling the story of the first time they saw us in concert and how exciting it was for them and they remember everything about it 15 years later and it takes me back to that moment in time at my first concert and the feeling comes right back as if it were yesterday. I guess maybe it is possible. Write us and share your story. We will post them. Thanks for reading and listening to Blessid Union Of Souls.

Over the years during the time of Blessid Union Of Souls, Eliot Sloan was also trying to pursue a solo career on his own. I actually helped get Eliot signed to a Record deal with his solo project to TVT Records along with our former manager Mark Liggett. Now I have hooked up with a few members from a the band I started my career with called "Thunder Head". Curt Benton on guitars and vocals, and Roger Julien on drums. We also added another guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Josh Fields which will be alternating from lead guitar and bass guitar. You may recognize Curt Benton's name as he has recorded harmonica and guitar parts on our first 4 cds and co-wrote songs on both "Walking Off The Buzz" and "The Singles". I will still be holding up my half of Blessid Union Of Souls with this official Blessid Union website, and continue bringing our fans new songs and videos that can be purchased from this site. But now I want to introduce you to the new project:
